Deck The Halls In Rot

Hey everyone,

This is the first real update in my challenge. I've started to assemble my force. I actually have some things done already that I will get to in the next post. For now I would just like to show you my Nurgle Plague Bearers.


These are some that I've had laying around for longer. Intended for a 40k army but they will now double for fantasy too. Great stuff. I am not entirely happy with the two painted guys and I want to pull them more towards what my GUO currently looks like.

 This will be their champion (they had none before, so he is new)

This is the second unit.

And some half painted nurglings. These are so great. 

Now you know what you can look forward to this month (and maybe after too)

A little thing about the first post. I saw the price of the Varanguard and as much as I like the models I think it is too much money for 3 models. I was already having some issues with them likely being around 40 euros so seeing as it is double I have decided to leave them out of the army and leave it as is now. 

December: "Do They Know It's Nurgle" Challenge

Hey everyone,

This December I would like to try something different. So I am setting aside my knights for a while. I am still eagerly waiting for the new Perry Miniatures to be released anyway to go absolutely beserk with them.

I would like to set up a small nurgle army for Age Of Sigmar and I will try to achieve that over the course of December.
I named this the: December "Do They Know It's Nurgle" Challenge. 
The Idea is simple and I wont pin myself to any deadlines but just enjoy working on this project this month. Clear my desk for some goopy slime and mucus. So It's not really a challenge just something fun to do over the holidays and other spare time.

What do I have in store, you wonder? I will keep things simple and use a lot of my daemons that I had planned for my nurgle army in 40k as well.

So:

1. Great Unclean One.

2. 5 Putrid Blightkings.

3. 2x10 Plague Bearers

4. 3 Nurglings

5. Nurgle Spawn

6. 1 Chaos Lord with Mark of Nurgle.

7. 5 Mounted Chaos Marauders

8. 3 of those fantastic rumoured new chaos knights.


I will be going for a Diablo 3-esque feel on the Chaos guys (like I did with the Blightkings) and bright green for the daemons.

I finished another very important character for my armies. The red side (Brightstorm) has their king done. (I am still working on the banner carrier that goes along with him) I may still add some touch ups here and there.

Hey everyone, it has been a while since I posted. This hasn't got anything to do with me not painting though. I have been working on several things and sadly all are very far but none yet really finished. I did finish some things and those I will show you today.

I finished my 10 man, men at arms unit for the Brightstorm side.
